Bahia La Pared
We found this restaurant when we were on a trip down to the south of the island. Before Costa Calma take a right turn to La Pared. It's on the other side of the island, but on the new road it doesn't take long to get there, as you're crossing over at the narrowest part of the island. The restaurant is overlooking the sea in a little bay.
The scenery is spectacular. What could be better than enjoying a good meal, with a beautiful view, and all this amidst glorious sunshine.
There is also a kiddies play area and lots of parking spaces.
When we were there the restaurant was full with locals which is usually a good recommendation! If I remember rightly it was Boxing Day.
We had a delicious seafood paella, pictured, which unusually had lots of vegetables in it. The paella had been cooked with lemons encircling the dish, which added more flavour. We have tried lots of paellas but this one was the tastiest up to now. The staff were very helpful, they even split an adult meal into 2 portions for the children!
